Overview
A portfolio is a personal collection of work that illustrates accomplishments and growth. A portfolio also shows an individual's skills, ideas, and interests. Posting the portfolio on the web takes the creation process a step further. Technology becomes an essential factor in displaying their best work. Our out-of-the-box experience has taken us on a journey to discovering the world of webfolios.
Objectives
NETS
The performance indicators listed below are just some of the opportunities which
will arise when students create webfolios. Because the students involved in this
project range from grades 5 through 12, certain indicators are geared towards a specific

2. Social, ethical, and human issues | Exhibit legal and ethical behaviors when using information and technology, and discuss consequences of misuse.(6-8) |
3. Technology productivity tools | Design, develop, publish, and present products using technology resources (6-8) |
4. Technology communication tools | Use telecommunications to communicate with others (3-5) |
5. Technology research tools | Collaborate with peers using telecommunications to develop solutions or products for audiences inside and outside the classroom. (9-12) |
6. Technology problem-solving and decision-making tools | Routinely and efficiently use online information resources to meet needs for collaboration, research, communications, and productivity. (9-12) |
